About the Company

Energi Fyn is one of Denmark's oldest cooperative energy companies, owned by 220,000 shareholders. Through its subsidiary, Vores Elnet, the company owns, operates, and develops the electricity grid across most of Funen, focusing on supporting the green transition and increasing electrification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project department consisting of approximately 20 employees responsible for planning, designing, and executing electricity grid projects.
• Manage the total project portfolio, involving annual investments of nearly 500 million DKK.
• Ensure progress and coherence across projects through planning, prioritization, and optimal resource allocation.
• Manage budgets, timelines, quality, and risks to provide a solid decision-making basis.
• Develop and optimize workflows and business processes.
• Report on portfolio, economy, and progress to the Technical Director.
• Participate in the technical management group and contribute to strategic initiatives, including IT and digitalization projects.
• Strengthen team competence, engagement, and performance through an involving leadership style.

Requirements

• Relevant technical education, such as electrical engineer, marine engineer, or equivalent.
• Project management certification is preferred.
• Solid experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager handling complex technical projects.
• Significant leadership experience, specifically in managing specialists.
• Proven track record of delivering projects within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality requirements.
• Experience with project models and personnel management.
• Strong economic understanding and analytical skills.
• Digital mindset and strong IT competencies.
• Experience from the electricity supply sector or critical infrastructure is an advantage.
