Project/Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support vehicle test and transportation activities, including post-storage checkout, compatibility testing, and shipment preparation.
• Coordinate with engineering, integration, test, operations, logistics, quality, and safety stakeholders to execute assigned work.
• Develop and maintain engineering products such as work packages, procedures, test plans, and readiness documentation.
• Identify, track, and resolve technical, schedule, and integration issues affecting vehicle and ground activities.
• Support pre-test, test, and post-test activities, including rehearsals, anomaly resolution, and lessons learned capture.
• Assist with transportation and handling planning for vehicles, subsystems, and ground support equipment.
• Contribute to mission support planning and the development of operational concepts and training materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 5-10 years of related experience in aerospace or technical engineering roles.
• Experience supporting complex aerospace flight hardware, test, integration, or vehicle/system development.
• Proven ability to work across multiple disciplines to coordinate technical work and drive execution.
• Experience developing engineering documentation, procedures, and readiness products.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NASA or human spaceflight project engineering processes.
• Experience supporting rover, spacecraft, payload, or complex system integration and test.
• Experience with hardware handling, GSE, pathfinding, or environmental/functional test campaigns.
• Experience supporting readiness reviews, anomaly resolution, or integrated test execution.
• Familiarity with configuration-controlled environments and disciplined engineering execution.
