About the role
Responsibilities
- Support vehicle test and transportation activities, including post-storage checkout, compatibility testing, and shipment preparation.
- Coordinate with engineering, integration, test, operations, logistics, quality, and safety stakeholders to execute assigned work.
- Develop and maintain engineering products such as work packages, procedures, test plans, and readiness documentation.
- Identify, track, and resolve technical, schedule, and integration issues affecting vehicle and ground activities.
- Support pre-test, test, and post-test activities, including rehearsals, anomaly resolution, and lessons learned capture.
- Assist with transportation and handling planning for vehicles, subsystems, and ground support equipment.
- Contribute to mission support planning and the development of operational concepts and training materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- 5-10 years of related experience in aerospace or technical engineering roles.
- Experience supporting complex aerospace flight hardware, test, integration, or vehicle/system development.
- Proven ability to work across multiple disciplines to coordinate technical work and drive execution.
- Experience developing engineering documentation, procedures, and readiness products.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with NASA or human spaceflight project engineering processes.
- Experience supporting rover, spacecraft, payload, or complex system integration and test.
- Experience with hardware handling, GSE, pathfinding, or environmental/functional test campaigns.
- Experience supporting readiness reviews, anomaly resolution, or integrated test execution.
- Familiarity with configuration-controlled environments and disciplined engineering execution.
