About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the technical contractual scope of Gas, Power, and Structures activities in collaboration with the System Deployment & Integration Manager.
- Ensure project solutions meet performance standards and achieve customer acceptance.
- Identify applicable regulations and integrate them into design solutions.
- Lead the deployment of Gas, Power, and Structures solutions and coordinate system deployment and integration activities.
- Manage project requirements, ensuring compliance and demonstration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate technical interfaces between subsystems and third-party subcontractors.
- Drive validation, commissioning, and certification activities.
- Ensure rigorous application of safety practices and promote the Alstom Code of Ethics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related scientific field.
- P. Eng certification or currently in progress.
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical project role.
- Specific experience in areas such as cable containment, signal structures, electrical/power supply, or gas pipe and supply.
- Hands-on experience in functional or hierarchical team management.
- Experience in technical subcontractor management.
- Knowledge of cost and planning control within engineering scopes.
- Strong customer relationship management skills in contractual environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of rail and rail signalling products and services.
- Background in safety engineering.
- Experience with the engineering product development lifecycle.
