Project Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and review activities and deliverables of field and office staff
• Collaborate with engineering staff and clients to ensure project requirements are met
• Provide guidance and direction to Survey Technicians and Surveyors in Training
• Manage and schedule individual projects to ensure timely completion
• Perform calculations and prepare field packages
• Process field data into accurate plats of survey and Metes and Bounds descriptions
• Perform quality control reviews of drawings and legal descriptions
• Resolve property boundaries and oversee boundary construction
• Sign and seal completed drawings, legal descriptions, and surveyor’s reports

Requirements

• Licensed as a Professional Surveyor in South Carolina and Georgia
• 0-4 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Surveyor
• Experience with ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage project budgets and invoicing
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with overtime as needed
