Project Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory direction of craft personnel, managing productivity, safety, quality, and schedule adherence
• Act as a liaison between field engineering and project craft to ensure compliance with construction drawings and specifications
• Coordinate effectively with other superintendents, subcontractors, and Kiewit leadership to ensure smooth workflow
• Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties
• Assist in schedule planning, including determining craft labor levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements
• Ensure consistent adherence to project rules, safety programs, and workplace behavior standards

Requirements

• 10+ years of work experience in the construction industry
• 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role
• Proven experience in a vertical building setting
• Advanced knowledge of construction disciplines, union agreements, and jurisdictional issues
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, scheduling, and cost control
• Ability to travel and relocate as needed
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
