Project Sourcing Manager–Exteriors

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing for new exterior programs in coordination with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, and Program Management.
• Issue RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs in alignment with category sourcing strategies.
• Negotiate costs to achieve the best overall Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and develop TCO documentation.
• Execute legal agreements, including Comprehensive Supply Agreements and Development Agreements.
• Identify supply risks and implement dual sourcing strategies to ensure continuity.
• Support VA/VE efforts to generate cost optimization and value engineering ideas.
• Research industry trends, global markets, and benchmark data to understand cost drivers.
• Prepare and present findings to sourcing committees for required approvals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of supply chain, engineering, or manufacturing experience, OR
• Master's degree with 3+ years of supply chain, engineering, or manufacturing experience, OR
• 8+ years of supply chain, engineering, or manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Procurement background within the automotive, commercial vehicle, or manufacturing industries.
• Proven experience developing category strategies and leading complex negotiations.
• Ability to read and understand technical 2D drawings and product specifications.
• Strong project management, analytical, and executive-level presentation skills.
