About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide access control at designated site entry points
- Conduct proactive and reactive patrols to ensure site integrity
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and assistance requests professionally
- Complete detailed daily reports and documentation
- Investigate routine incidents and escalate findings appropriately
- Communicate clearly with staff, contractors, and visitors
- Enforce site security policies and procedures
Requirements
- Valid Alberta Security Guard License
- Ability to commute to Empress, Alberta
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and work outdoors
- Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid First Aid & CPR Level C
- Experience in industrial or site-based security
