Responsibilities

  • Set up, update, and maintain project schedules using software like Primavera Cloud and Smartsheet
  • Utilize Advanced Work Packaging and Takt Planning methodologies to optimize schedules
  • Collaborate with project managers to update schedules based on scope, deliverables, and milestones
  • Monitor project progress weekly and identify potential delays
  • Track risks to project timelines and implement mitigation strategies
  • Maintain documentation of project changes and schedule adjustments
  • Prepare regular reports on schedule performance and progress
  • Facilitate schedule review meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders
  • Develop portfolio-level schedules to manage reporting across projects or regions
  • Support resource allocation and workforce planning to optimize efficiency
  • Track labor, material, and equipment usage to inform future planning
  • Maintain and improve existing project schedule templates

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Scheduler in the construction industry
  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
  • Familiarity with construction processes and methodologies
  • Experience in Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of standard US construction field concepts, practices, and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management certification
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
  • Knowledge of subcontractor management and procurement processes
  • Experience in industrialized construction
  • Experience at an early-stage or growth startup
  • Experience with lean, agile, pull planning, or takt planning
  • Experience working with the Trades
