Project Scheduler

Responsibilities

• Support UK offshore Wind Energy projects by managing planning, scheduling, and project controls reporting.
• Establish and monitor Performance Measurement Baselines (PMB) to track project progress.
• Develop detailed project schedules, create "what-if" scenarios, and maintain master schedule baselines for engineering, procurement, and construction.
• Perform critical path analysis to identify potential schedule slips and float.
• Monitor project risks, issues, and resources, maintaining the risk register to prevent unforeseen impacts.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to identify progress issues and develop recovery actions.
• Mentor junior and intermediate staff and coordinate activities among other schedulers.
• Support business development teams with scheduling needs during the proposal phase.

Requirements

• 8-12 years of experience in project scheduling.
• Industry experience in Offshore Wind, Oil & Gas, or Marine sectors.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory).
• Experience with Microsoft Project and other planning products.
• Strong knowledge of Project Controls, including Cost, Change, Risk, and Opportunity Management.
• Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• Ability to work flexibly to align with UK time zones for meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification.
• Experience working on UK-based projects.
• Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) guiding principles.
• Experience in an EPCM environment.
• Proficiency with data analytics tools such as Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Background in cost control.
