Project Scheduler

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining project schedules and establishing a baseline
• Monitoring critical path and float erosion and advising on corrective action
• Establishing budgets and monitoring project costs, including accurate cost forecasts and profiles
• Forecasting project resource demands and undertaking resource smoothing and levelling
• Recording and facilitating change management
• Recording and challenging risk provision
• Maintaining appropriate re-forecasted project baselines
• Monitoring trends and forecasts to identify conflicts and threats to project success
• Preparing summary reports to highlight project issues, risks, and forthcoming milestones
• Supporting Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Managing complex information requirements from Delivery Teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of scheduling experience
• Proficiency in MS Project and Primavera P6
• University degree in project management, engineering, or a construction industry discipline
• 5+ years of civil or offshore experience
• Strong analytical and IT skills, particularly Excel and MS Office Suite
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience with project, contract, and finance management tools (e.g., Maximo, PCM, Oracle)

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Power BI
• NEC Contract experience
• Experience with large-scale complex portfolio governance and control
