About the role
Responsibilities
- Establish Program/Project Quality plans and ensure proper application during execution in accordance with Alstom processes.
- Ensure Quality and Safety standards are applied, managing corrective actions and proposing improvements when necessary.
- Act as the primary interface for all Quality disciplines within the Project/Program Team.
- Support program teams in preparing gate reviews and following up on related action plans.
- Manage System Engineering, Software, and Hardware quality assurance activities.
- Perform safety reviews, safety case chapters, and delivery reviews according to Alstom Safety standards.
- Manage Non-conformities and Safety issues using problem-solving methods like 8D to reduce costs of non-quality.
- Control project deliverable compliance through regular inspections and audits.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Practical knowledge of Quality standards (e.g., ISO9001) and quality tools (e.g., 5Why, 8D methods).
- Fluent Polish and communicative English.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to cooperate effectively in a team and influence continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of the railway industry (norms, certifications, Cenelec) and experience in Engineering or Project Execution is preferred.
