About the role
Responsibilities
- Guarantee quality management and internal safety assessments throughout the entire project lifecycle, from inception to the end of the warranty phase.
- Ensure alignment between customer satisfaction and Quality-Cost-Deadline objectives.
- Act as the primary Quality interface between the client and the project team.
- Define, maintain, and deploy Project Quality Plans.
- Perform objective evaluations of project process implementation and escalate quality or safety alerts.
- Manage project-related non-conformities and lead problem-solving activities (internal and external).
- Support Project Managers in defining and executing "Development For Quality – Gate Reviews."
- Organize and lead safety reviews and prepare internal safety authorizations for commissioning.
- Contribute to continuous site improvement through project feedback and process audits.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Generalist Technical Engineering (Engineering School or University).
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Project Quality methodology, ideally within a systems engineering context.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and CMMI v1.3 standards.
- Proficiency in quality tools such as 5 Why, Ishikawa, and 8D.
- Experience conducting internal and/or external Quality audits.
- Fluent technical English.
- Strong operational mindset with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience or knowledge within the railway sector.
- Understanding of project lifecycle phases including specifications, design, and validation.
- Familiarity with configuration management, requirements management, and document management.
