Project Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead project Quality Assurance (QA) and serve as the primary quality interface for Project Directors and customers.
• Develop quality strategies and manage QA/QC requirements to ensure regulatory and quality compliance.
• Proactively identify risks for potential non-conformities and oversee quality control, inspections, and documentation.
• Train and support project teams on Quality Systems, tools, and processes.
• Drive continuous improvement by analyzing quality issues using 8D/RCA, CAPA, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in Project or Site Quality Management, specifically with welded constructions.
• Expertise in Welding (e.g., IWE) and NDT methods (e.g., RT, UT, MT, PT, VT).
• Knowledge of harmonized standards (EN 12952, EN 13480, EN 1090) and ASME BPVC.
• Proficiency in both English and Italian.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of German or French.
• Expertise in corrosion protection (e.g., FROSIO).
• Familiarity with UK/EU directives such as PED 2014/68/EU and MRL 2006/42/EC.
