About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Project Quality team for the Train, Passenger, and Service businesses at the Villeurbanne site.
  • Guarantee quality management and internal safety assessments throughout the entire project lifecycle until the warranty exit phase.
  • Ensure alignment between customer satisfaction and Quality-Cost-Deadline objectives.
  • Act as the primary Quality interface between the client and the project teams.
  • Define, maintain, and deploy Project Quality plans.
  • Manage project-related non-conformities and lead problem-solving activities (internal and external).
  • Support Project Managers in defining and executing "Development For Quality – Gate Reviews."
  • Organize and lead safety reviews and prepare internal safety authorizations for commissioning.
  • Serve as the site's Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Project Quality, ensuring indicator accuracy and driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in General Engineering (Engineering School or University).
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in Project Quality methodology, ideally within a systems engineering context.
  • Strong knowledge of project phase requirements (specifications, design, validation) and transverse processes (configuration, requirements, and document management).
  • Proficiency in ISO 9001:2015 and CMMI v1.3 standards.
  • Mastery of quality tools such as 5 Why, Ishikawa, and 8D.
  • Proven experience conducting internal and/or external quality audits.
  • Fluent technical English.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and maintain rigor in a field-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of the railway sector is a significant advantage.
