About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all quality and safety activities throughout the project lifecycle, serving as the primary interface for engineering, industrial, and supplier quality.
  • Establish the Project Quality plan and ensure proper application during contract execution in accordance with contract requirements and Alstom processes.
  • Act as the main interface with customer quality and safety teams.
  • Support project teams and Project Managers in preparing gate reviews and following up on related action plans.
  • Manage non-conformities and safety issues, facilitating problem-solving (e.g., 8D) to reduce the cost of non-quality.
  • Control project deliverables compliance through inspections and audits to authorize delivery to the customer.
  • Ensure safety assessments are correctly implemented and prepare safety authorizations.
  • Monitor Risks & Opportunities by incorporating Return of Experience (REX) from all métiers.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Engineering with a management background.
  • Proven experience managing quality tools and problem-solving tools.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards such as ISO9001, IRIS, and CMMI.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience in quality auditing or operational activities.
  • Strong communication, rigor, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the railway industry, including specific norms and certifications.
  • Experience in documentation management and operational activities.
