About the role

Responsibilities

  • Analyze program security needs, including laws and regulations, to determine security objectives and risk strategies
  • Plan security activities within the development life cycle, including cost estimation and duration
  • Manage cybersecurity deliverables, including risk analysis, architecture definition, and requirement allocation
  • Cascade requirements to suppliers and manage third-party risks
  • Define cybersecurity operating procedures and evaluate achieved cybersecurity levels
  • Manage vulnerabilities, cybersecurity issues, and action plans
  • Provide technical support during design meetings and manage relationships with external auditors
  • Report on program cybersecurity status and promote ethical conduct

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience delivering safety-critical systems
  • 3-5 years of experience using standards such as IEC-62443 or CLC/TC 50701
  • Hands-on experience with architecture, design, and development
  • Experience with cybersecurity technology deployment and project management
  • Proven experience performing cybersecurity analysis on Industrial Control Systems (ICS)
  • Experience conducting cyber certification for ICS in a lead role
  • P.Eng certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in embedded or OT/Industrial systems (railway or aeronautics)
  • Experience performing cybersecurity analysis on passenger rail or rapid transit systems
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity standards such as ISO 2700X, NIST, and APTA
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, GICSP, or CompTIA Security+
