Project Procurement Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall procurement lifecycle for assigned capital projects within the pulp division
• Define and execute Project Procurement Plans in collaboration with Sales, Engineering, and Quality teams
• Conduct RFPs, source suppliers, and negotiate pricing and commercial contracts/POs
• Prepare offer evaluation summaries and provide vendor recommendations
• Monitor supplier schedules for critical long-cycle scopes to ensure on-time delivery
• Work closely with Project Managers to ensure procurement activities align with budgets and timelines
• Coordinate with Logistics teams for the transport of shipments to sites or customers
• Collaborate with leadership to support the development of supplier category strategies

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a procurement role, preferably within project-based environments
• Experience with commercial contracts and related terms and conditions
• Fundamental understanding of metals products (plate, tube, pipe, etc.)
• Experience purchasing fabricated materials and machined parts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Ability to travel approximately 15%–25% domestically and internationally
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related), Supply Chain, or Business Administration

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in the Pulp & Paper or other Process Industries
• Master's degree in a relevant field
