Project Procurement Advisor

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key point of contact for regional site projects regarding contracting, equipment purchasing, logistics, and materials management.
• Participate in early project strategy, risk assessment, and planning workshops to define execution and contracting strategies.
• Develop and endorse formal Project Management process Materials Management deliverables.
• Compile project equipment lists, major subcontract lists, and associated commercial strategies.
• Finalize Long Lead Equipment (LLE) lists and procurement schedules, considering lead times and construction sequences.
• Oversee subcontracting activities from bid list development and bidder qualification through to contract award and closeout.
• Monitor commercial competitiveness of negotiations and ensure adherence to delivery schedules.
• Engage with Engineering, Quality, and Construction disciplines to ensure cross-functional awareness of project status.
• Manage the effective closeout of procurement activities, including vendor data compilation and transfer of warranties to Operations.

Requirements

• Engineering Graduate degree is the minimum qualification.
• Preference for candidates with a background in Mechanical Engineering.
