About the role
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a resource-loaded Project Management Baseline, including costs.
- Execute month-end performance exercises integrating schedule performance with finance for payments.
- Maintain a high-level, cost and time-loaded 5-year program schedule for forecasting.
- Analyze project progress to determine if work is ahead or behind the planned schedule.
- Measure ongoing efficiency and performance using industry-standard schedule health and quality metrics.
- Interrogate data to identify problems, implement corrective actions, and manage re-scheduling.
- Document and communicate variance and trend analyses through an appropriate change control process.
- Support the project team in understanding performance measurement processes and reporting formats.
- Communicate current issues, future risks, and potential opportunities to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency.
- Expertise in establishing an Integrated Master Schedule and Project Management Baseline.
- Expert proficiency in MS Excel.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 for both scheduling and administration.
- Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced experience with cost database products such as Oracle Fusion or Deltek Cobra.
- Proficiency in project reporting using KPIs, Deltek Acumen, or Smartsheet.
- Familiarity with DCMA, DCAA, and ANSI-748 standards.
- Prior experience mentoring or supporting junior staff.
