Project Planning and Control Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Administer and supervise contractors according to construction contract documents
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions
• Manage contractual changes and claims efficiently
• Prepare and review contractual documentation including addenda and modifications
• Monitor contractor and supplier performance
• Implement and manage Earned Value Management (EVM) to evaluate project cost and time performance
• Use Power BI for project data visualization, providing interactive reports and dashboards
• Analyze trends in key project control indicators (SPI, CPI, ETC, EAC)
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and schedule compliance
• Evaluate contractor resource requirements to ensure alignment with project portfolio goals
• Resolve contractual disputes and negotiate effective solutions
• Maintain accurate and updated records of all contracts and transactions
• Develop and maintain the Project Master Schedule
• Lead internal planning meetings with engineering leaders and construction supervisors
• Perform risk analysis to identify and quantify potential impacts on the plan

Requirements

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Mechanical-Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Planning and Control
• Experience in mining, engineering, assembly, and quality control for large-scale mining projects
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel
• Expertise in S-Curves, 3-week look ahead, and Earned Value Management
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and proactive skills

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification or in progress
• Knowledge of mining legislation and operations
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SAP
• Master's degree or diploma in Construction Project Management
• Experience in Pre-commissioning and Commissioning stages of primary crushers and belts
