Project Planner

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocations
• Utilise planning software like Primavera P6 to track progress and support delivery forecasting
• Create detailed work breakdown structures and analyse project requirements
• Identify potential programme risks and propose mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to agree on timescales and requirements
• Conduct resource forecasting and optimisation to improve efficiency
• Assist in the development of project budgets and cost estimates
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering or a related field
• Strong knowledge of NEC form of contract
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
• Experience in construction or infrastructure projects
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Knowledge of construction methodologies and techniques
• Understanding of project scheduling and resource allocation principles
