Project Planner

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed plans and schedules for drill rig rebuilds and major maintenance interventions
• Monitor project phases, tracking progress against plans and resolving deviations promptly
• Supervise the execution teams, including overseeing shift teams essential to daily operations
• Track project budgets, manage expenditure, and ensure budgetary compliance
• Ensure all rebuild activities meet quality standards and safety regulations
• Maintain clear communication with management, maintenance teams, and suppliers
• Identify project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in project management or equipment maintenance oversight
• Experience within the mining or heavy equipment industry
• Previous experience in maintenance planning or scheduling
• Diploma in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field
• Proven proficiency in planning, scheduling, and budget management for complex projects
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams
• A Trade qualification is considered advantageous
