Project Officer

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive surveys and assessments of individuals and families to identify socio-economic challenges
• Collaborate with community members, local organizations, and government agencies to design and implement programs
• Provide counseling and support to individuals and families in need
• Advocate for policy changes at local and regional levels
• Facilitate workshops, seminars, and training sessions to raise awareness
• Explore and tap into central, state, and local government schemes
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of socio-economic programs
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists, educators, and healthcare professionals
• Build and maintain rapport with local people, officials, and media representatives
• Prepare monthly and annual working budgets and project progress reports
• Facilitate communication between the field and the head office

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or a related field
• Relevant experience in social work or community development
• Strong knowledge of socio-economic challenges and disparities
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer knowledge and MS-Office proficiency
• Strong networking and liasoning skills
• Knowledge of livelihood related projects
• Ability to travel extensively across the country
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation
