Project Manager/Commercial Quotations - Plumbing

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering packages and project requirements to create quotations and submittal packages
• Negotiate pricing, delivery, and purchase terms with vendors and customers
• Manage project orders and create pricing contracts based on accepted quotations
• Investigate and resolve customer and vendor issues regarding pricing or material returns
• Support the Profit Centre team with product expertise and assist customers via phone, counter, or job sites
• Communicate potential credit risks to the Profit Centre Manager and Credit Department

Requirements

• College and/or University degree
• Minimum 1 year of related experience, preferably in the construction industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills
• Intermediate math skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work under tight timelines and multiple deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of plumbing and building products
• Experience using Trend and Eclipse software
• Previous sales experience in a wholesale distribution environment
• Engineering skills
