About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage environmental remediation projects from contract award through final completion
- Develop project budgets, schedules, and execution plans
- Coordinate project teams including superintendents, field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
- Manage project costs, forecasting, change orders, and contract administration
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, remedial designs, and project documents
- Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Monitor project schedules, productivity, and financial performance
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, engineers, consultants, and regulatory agencies
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience in environmental remediation, environmental construction, or heavy civil
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and contract administration
- Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and remedial designs
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast and Eastern United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Science, or Geology
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification
- 40-Hour HAZWOPER
- Experience with environmental remediation technologies
