About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and plan IT or strategic projects from concept to completion
  • Manage project scope, quality, budget, risk, and stakeholder relationships
  • Develop project charters, resource plans, and detailed schedules
  • Determine key performance indicators to measure project success
  • Conduct complex risk assessments and advise on implementation feasibility
  • Liaise with internal and external contacts to facilitate procurement processes
  • Champion project governance by ensuring proper documentation and client sign-off

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and a completed PMP certification or equivalent
  • 5 years of related project management experience
  • At least 2 years of experience specifically managing Information Technology projects
  • Demonstrated experience with both waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office 365, including MS Teams and SharePoint
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a multi-stakeholder environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications related to business analysis or process improvement (e.g., CBAP, ITIL, Lean)
  • Knowledge of PHIPA, HIPAA, or AODA guidelines
  • Experience with data analysis, data modeling, and writing technical specifications
  • Experience in a commercial or cost-recovery environment
