Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage ISS upgrades of gas Pressure Reduction Stations, AGIs, Gas Terminals, and Electrical Sub Stations
• Devise strategic programmes of works and monitor progress against safety, time, cost, and quality targets
• Prepare and manage Project Delivery Plans and detailed short-term programmes
• Oversee project design, safety, quality management, resource planning, and commercial management
• Act as a leader for HSQ&E, promoting high standards of health, safety, and environmental management
• Ensure projects are adequately staffed and maintain high team morale and communication
• Work closely with the Commercial team to align operations and manage contract obligations
• Notify and obtain client approval for any work carried out outside the contract scope

Requirements

• Experienced Project Manager with Gas or Electricity industry experience
• Experience with NEC form of contract
• Proven track record of delivering projects from conception through construction and commissioning
• Site management safety certificate (SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience managing high-value projects or portfolios
• Full UK driving license
• Willingness to travel weekly and lodge where required
• Experience with ISS security projects and technologies is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with National Grid, National Gas, Cadent, Northern Gas Networks, or Southern Gas Networks
