Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage the delivery of multiple ongoing projects up to £10 million in value
• Undertake Principal Contractor responsibilities in accordance with CDM 2015 regulations
• Lead the implementation of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) procedures
• Manage overall project programmes, budgets, cost control, and target margins
• Provide line management to Site Managers, Engineers, and Site Foremen
• Coordinate and manage supply chain partners and resolve performance issues
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders
• Collaborate with designers to develop practical, cost-effective, and buildable solutions
• Ensure all necessary method statements and risk assessments are maintained

Requirements

• Degree, HND, or HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager within the water industry
• APM PMQ or equivalent project management qualification
• SMSTS (CITB) certification
• CSCS Manager Level card
• CDM Awareness
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management

Preferred Qualifications

• NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely
• Temporary Works Coordinator certification
• Proficiency in MS Project or similar planning tools
• SEATS or Environmental Management training
