About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead Project Management Commissions and take responsibility for end-to-end service delivery
  • Act as the primary day-to-day client interface to ensure objectives are met
  • Advise at a strategic level during project inception
  • Prepare and maintain project requirements and master project plans
  • Establish project governance, processes, and systems
  • Manage resource plans, procurement, and cross-functional teams
  • Monitor performance using KPIs and manage the change control process
  • Develop and manage budgets, controlling forecast and actual costs
  • Identify and mitigate project risks
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and project information flow
  • Advise on Health & Safety and Environmental issues

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in a construction-related subject
  • Experience managing infrastructure projects (transportation, highways, utilities, or defence)
  • Ability to manage projects typically in the £10m to £25m range

Preferred Qualifications

  • NEC (3/4) accreditation
  • Chartered or qualified status with ICE, APM, or RICS
