About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead Project Management Commissions and take responsibility for end-to-end service delivery
- Act as the primary day-to-day client interface to ensure objectives are met
- Advise at a strategic level during project inception
- Prepare and maintain project requirements and success criteria
- Establish project governance, processes, and systems
- Prepare and maintain activity schedules and master project plans
- Manage resource development, procurement, and cross-functional teams
- Monitor performance using KPIs and manage the change control process
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasting, and actual costs
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Manage stakeholder relationships and project information flow
- Advise on Health & Safety and Environmental issues
Requirements
- Degree qualified in a construction-related subject
- Experience in project management within infrastructure sectors (transportation, highways, utilities, or defence)
- Ability to manage projects typically in the £10m to £25m range
Preferred Qualifications
- NEC (3/4) accreditation
- Chartered or qualified status with ICE, APM, or RICS
