Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan and secure resources for the project or programme using appropriate tools and techniques
• Lead and manage the project or programme team and delegate tasks
• Identify and manage risks and issues using effective mitigation and contingency strategies
• Ensure the project or programme stays on track, on time, and within budget
• Build, sustain and facilitate relationships with project or programme stakeholders
• Monitor and report on the progress and outcomes of the project or programme
• Evaluate the impact and benefits of the project or programme using evidence-based methods

Requirements

• Degree in Project management or Construction Management
• 5 years of experience in large scale public health and life sciences projects
• Knowledge of construction industry themes such as MMC, Net Zero Carbon and Digital agenda
• Knowledge of project lifecycle and business case approvals process
• Membership of a chartered institute (e.g., RICS) or willingness to work towards it

Preferred Qualifications

• NEC accredited Project Manager
• Experience in master planning, strategic estate development, and capital project planning
• Detailed experience of NEC contract administration
