Project Manager Tunnelling Specialist

Responsibilities

• Ensure the site is run in a safe and efficient manner
• Maximise the commercial performance of the contract
• Produce procurement schedules and liaise with the procurement department
• Forecast costs, manage scope, and manage unplanned construction work costs
• Report risks and opportunities to the senior management team
• Deliver work to specified quality without defects
• Implement Project Plans, RAMS, ITP’s, and waste management plans
• Maintain detailed site diaries and records

Requirements

• Experience managing Tunnelling and Shaft projects in highly regulated UK environments
• Previous experience with TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine) is required
• Proficiency in NEC contracts, contract management, and change management
• Experience in Design Management, Risk Management, and production of CVR
• Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• SMSTS certification
• Ability to challenge designs and resolve problems independently
