About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary field contact for electrical trade contractors, coordinating daily work packages and resolving constraints on the cleanroom floor.
- Oversee the physical installation and connection of Low-Voltage (LV) power runs, wiring, and termination of EMO circuits and tool interlocks.
- Monitor and report on schedule milestones, manpower levels, and material installation rates for assigned toolsets.
- Review contractor-submitted RFIs and Field Change Orders (FCOs) to validate field conditions.
- Enforce strict construction safety standards, electrical safety rules, and cleanroom protocol compliance.
- Utilize 3D models to resolve routing conflicts between electrical conduits, cable trays, and other systems.
- Coordinate lockout/tagout (LOTO) and initial energization sequences for individual tools.
- Generate and close out electrical punchlist items to achieve final system acceptance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- 4+ years of project management or field engineering experience in large-scale industrial electrical construction.
- Minimum 2 years of direct experience in an active semiconductor cleanroom environment.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification.
- Practical knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E.
- Proficiency in navigating digital information modeling viewers such as Autodesk Navisworks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) designation.
- CAPM or PMP certification.
