About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage power plant conceptual design studies, feasibility studies, and technical due diligence assessments
- Manage EPC tendering projects, contractor negotiations, and IPP bidding projects
- Oversee PPA negotiations and general power project development
- Manage various technical consulting assignments and coordinate internal report preparation
- Potential to expand into business development, proposal preparation, and Owner’s engineer construction management
Requirements
- Higher professional degree (M.Sc. or B.Sc.) in mechanical or electrical engineering, energy economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the power sector
- Fluency in English with excellent report writing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Willingness to travel on short-term assignments within South-East Asia
