Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage construction and engineering projects from planning through commissioning and closeout
• Review technical submissions from A&E firms, including MEP and structural drawings
• Manage construction communications such as RFIs, submittals, and technical clarifications
• Maintain accurate as-built project documentation and project schedules using Microsoft Project
• Act as the owner’s representative on capital projects to ensure alignment with client goals
• Conduct regular construction site walks to verify progress and identify field issues
• Coordinate contractors including general contractors, mechanical, electrical, and specialty trades
• Support commissioning and handover of building systems like HVAC, emergency power, and lab gases
• Develop and implement document control and information management processes

Requirements

• 4–9 years of experience in project engineering or project management
• Experience in industrial, chemical, petrochemical, biotech, or related environments
• Experience managing capital projects from design through commissioning
• Experience executing projects within active operating facilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and construction management software (ProCore, E-Builder, or Prolog)
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification
