Project Manager Substation Primary Technology

Responsibilities

• Independent management of projects or technical project packages in the substation environment, high-voltage plants, and grid connection solutions
• Control of deadlines, costs, quality, technical risks, and interfaces within your area of responsibility
• Coordination of internal and external project participants, including clients, grid operators, planners, manufacturers, and suppliers
• Review and evaluation of technical concepts, specifications, and execution documents
• Coordination of primary technical planning for AIS/GIS switchgear, transformers, high-voltage equipment, busbars, cable systems, and grounding/layout
• Ensuring compliance with technical specifications, relevant regulations, customer standards, and internal quality requirements

Requirements

• Degree in electrical engineering, energy technology, automation technology, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or equivalent qualification (Master/Technician)
• Experience in project management, coordination, planning, or commissioning of substations, switchgear, or energy infrastructure projects
• Experience with AIS/GIS systems, transformers, high-voltage equipment, or plant layouts
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project
• Very good German language skills (written and spoken)
• Driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel to construction sites and client locations

Preferred Qualifications

• English language skills
• Interest in BIM, digitalization, and model-based collaboration
