Project Manager, Store Design

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of store design projects from early concept through store opening
• Develop and review conceptual designs while translating business requirements into spatial solutions
• Ensure global design standards are consistently executed across various retail formats and international markets
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, technical documentation, and landlord approvals
• Partner cross-functionally to balance creative design intent with constructability and operational needs
• Anticipate project risks, resolve issues, and manage material procurement to keep projects on track

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Architecture or Interior Design degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager supporting retail design projects
• Proven portfolio demonstrating conceptual design development and completed, built projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication, organization, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work onsite in the NY (Flatiron) or NJ (Jersey City) areas

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in both traditional design firms and field construction environments
• Experience supporting international retail markets
• Ability to develop concept sketches and work efficiently within tight timelines
