Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for planning and controlling strategic projects, ensuring adherence to time, budget, and quality requirements
• Coordinate and manage project stakeholders and interfaces between internal departments and external consultants
• Actively manage dependencies, risks, and escalations at the program and portfolio level
• Ensure transparent project reporting and moderate workshops, project committees, and decision-making rounds
• Establish and further develop project management standards, methods, and tools within the PMO
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and functional leadership to project managers and PMO roles
• Support change and enablement processes during organizational transformations

Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Business Informatics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Multi-year experience in managing complex projects, ideally within a PMO environment
• IPMA certification (Level B or C preferred) or a comparable professional qualification
• Strong knowledge of established project management methodologies (classic, agile, and hybrid)
• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, SAP Cloud ALM, or Power BI
• Fluent written and spoken German and English
• Strong analytical, communication, and moderation skills with a structured way of working
