Project Manager - Senior Consultant

Responsibilities

• Manage the administration, financial management, and activities of chemical industry consortia to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead project management for new and existing consortia, including maintaining planning and coordinating technical work.
• Facilitate technical and executive consortia meetings and lead discussions to build consensus among stakeholders.
• Prepare drafts of legal documents and identify potential legal or regulatory issues before they become critical.
• Support clients in day-to-day REACH and Biocides related business operations.
• Maintain communication and relationships with third parties and authorities such as ECHA and the European Commission.
• Provide strategic advice to clients regarding the impact of regulations and propose creative solutions to complex challenges.

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent qualification.
• 5-10 years of project management experience, ideally in a client-facing consultancy role.
• Solid knowledge of European chemicals legislation, specifically REACH, BPR, and CLP.
• Advanced understanding of competition law and REACH-related legal and contractual issues.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work on different projects in parallel.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to advocate for common interests among diverse companies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with complex cost-sharing rules and project financial management.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and handle shifting priorities.
• A strong interest in evolving global REACH-like regulations and EU chemical policy.
