About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of plans for land development projects including commercial, residential, and roadway improvements
- Oversee design delivery to ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness
- Provide leadership to the design team and coordinate project efforts
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate document preparation for multiple projects
- Interact with clients, authorities, contractors, and subcontractors
- Create proposals and engage in subcontractor agreements
- Create project schedules, track permit status, and lead project meetings
- Communicate weekly with clients regarding project progress
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- United States Work Authorization
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to travel to various project sites and navigate construction areas
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Eight or more years of experience in engineering land development design
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience in land development, water/sewer projects, stormwater management, erosion control, parking lots, or road design
