Project Manager Research & Development

Responsibilities

• Lead demanding development projects from initial concept through to successful implementation in customer projects
• Direct interdisciplinary, international project teams and coordinate all relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Manage technical overall coordination, including requirement gathering, integration, and system realization
• Utilize modern technologies in mechanical engineering, robotics, material flow simulation, and machine vision to develop scalable solutions
• Work within an agile setup, collaborating closely with Sales, Engineering, and Development departments
• Analyze technical and economic decisions to derive well-founded measures
• Manage risks, dependencies, and resources throughout the entire project lifecycle using agile (Scrum) or hybrid methodologies

Requirements

• University degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical field
• Several years of development or project experience in intralogistics, robotics, machine vision, or software environments
• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Asana
• Fluency in both German and English for daily collaboration in international projects
• Strong communicative and organizational skills to successfully coordinate diverse teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Project management certification, such as IPMA or PMP
