Project Manager - Rail

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of assigned work packages, including programme, budget, quality, and safety outcomes
• Co-lead multi-disciplinary design teams to deliver design on time and within budget
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and champion a safety culture
• Manage complex internal and external stakeholder engagement
• Own project governance, reporting, and control structures
• Manage project budgets and assist with change and commercial management processes under NEC3 Option C
• Lead and mentor Assistant Project Managers and junior project staff

Requirements

• Experience in rail, complex infrastructure, or systems
• Proven track record of leading and delivering complex multi-disciplinary projects
• Significant experience in project management and leading project teams
• Strong NEC3 contract management experience (ideally 3+ years)
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and commercial/financial knowledge
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and CDM Regulations 2015
• Right to work in the UK

Preferred Qualifications

• Chartered membership (e.g., ChPP) of the Association for Project Management
• University degree or equivalent
