Project Manager, R&D

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and close software projects on time, within budget, and within scope
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage project resources effectively
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Monitor progress, track milestones, and implement risk mitigation strategies
• Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders and leadership
• Facilitate meetings, maintain documentation, and ensure project governance
• Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and process optimization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field
• 4+ years of software project management experience
• Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Asana, or Smartsheet
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certification
• Experience in the Medical Device industry with software project management
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• Experience with budgeting and financial tracking
