Project Manager Production Planning & SCM Aerospace

Responsibilities

• Manage and implement Supply Chain Management projects focusing on production planning, inventory management, and process optimization
• Support operational production planning to achieve delivery, inventory, and planning quality goals
• Manage inventory for the Aerospace division, including analysis, KPI control, and implementing measures for NWC goals
• Develop and monitor key metrics such as inventory, NWC, DIO, delivery reliability, backlog, and planning stability
• Optimize planning and control processes and further develop the production planning system including SAP interfaces
• Act as a central interface between sales, production, purchasing, customers, and external partners
• Support capacity and corporate planning, particularly within the SIOP process
• Handle cross-departmental issues, escalations, and special analyses

Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, SCM, or a comparable field
• Initial practical experience in SCM, production planning, or materials management
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with Power Pivot and Power BI is ideal
• Good knowledge of SAP (e.g., PP, SCM, APO, BW, or SAC)
• Very good German and English skills (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical skills and ability to structure complex information
• Team player with strong communication skills and a professional demeanor
