Project Manager (Power Delivery)

Responsibilities

• Manage project management processes, including identifying tasks, milestones, and resource requirements for grid transformation projects.
• Develop project scope, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and outage work plans in collaboration with project teams.
• Oversee system improvement projects involving solar, battery storage, R&D, and DOE portfolio initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams such as Interconnections, Planning, and New Ventures to improve system resilience and reliability.
• Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, including executive management and operations teams.
• Ensure projects are accurately scoped and budgeted to find operational efficiencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical degree.
• 5+ years of experience in Project Management or related fields such as transmission system maintenance, design, construction, or operations.
• Strong knowledge of transmission systems, engineering principles, and electric operating practices.
• Proficiency with reporting and data tools including Power BI, MS Access, and Excel (Pivot Tables).
• Experience with project management software such as Primavera (P6) or Oracle Unifier.
• Demonstrated ability to lead team efforts, manage large volumes of work, and resolve conflicts.
• Ability to travel up to 25% across the state for in-person project site meetings.
