About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of LV, MV, and HV power infrastructure projects
- Oversee substation installation, switchgear replacement, and transformer projects
- Integrate renewable energy assets including BESS and solar PV farms
- Lead technical condition assessments for electrical substations and buried utilities
- Coordinate multidisciplinary designs across electrical, civil, and structural disciplines
- Administer NEC4 contracts, managing early warnings and compensation events
- Engage with internal airport teams and external regulatory bodies like ESB Networks
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or related discipline)
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience in heavy civils and energy infrastructure
- Strong expertise in substation projects and HV/MV electrical systems
- Proven track record delivering renewable energy systems
- Experience with NEC4 contract administration
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aviation or transport infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of sustainability and carbon reduction strategies
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification
- Familiarity with Irish construction and energy regulations
