About the Company

Patriot Erectors is a full-service, AISC Certified Steel Fabricator and AISC Advanced Steel Erector. Founded in 1991, the company is located just west of Austin, Texas, with a modern 60,000-square-foot fabrication facility.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess vendor proposals
• Manage multiple parallel projects using formal project planning techniques
• Set up projects in the PE system and establish fabrication schedules
• Coordinate subcontractors and monitor vendor relationships
• Communicate progress towards production, financial, quality, and safety goals
• Negotiate change orders and maintain customer relationships
• Identify resource and equipment requirements and manage capacity planning

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• Ten years of general experience
• Five years of project management experience in the structural steel industry
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of AISC Manual of Steel Construction for shop and erection drawings
• Understanding of construction codes and practices
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience with FabSuite, Tekla, Tekla EPM, or Trimble Connect
