Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary company representative with clients and subcontractors during project execution
• Lead external and internal meetings and discussions to ensure project alignment
• Develop, negotiate, and monitor project scope, schedules, and budgets for DOT projects
• Oversee and review technical project deliverables to ensure compliance with all applicable standards
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to the project team based on requirements and team strengths
• Mentor junior staff to enhance a high-performance team culture
• Lead monthly reporting of project financials and key performance metrics
• Ensure all quality processes and requirements are continuously followed throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical field
• 10+ years of technical experience in the transportation industry
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration is required
• Proven experience in project delivery and technical design
• Strong knowledge of state-specific design standards
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for client and subcontractor interfacing
• Experience with business and administrative tasks including staffing, budgeting, and scheduling

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) projects
