Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as a company representative with clients and subcontractors during project execution
• Lead external and internal meetings and discussions
• Work with discipline leads and project engineers to develop, negotiate, and monitor scope, schedule, and budgets for DOT projects
• Oversee and review technical project deliverables to ensure compliance with technical standards
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to the project team based on project requirements and team strengths
• Mentor junior staff to enhance a high-performance culture
• Ensure all quality processes and requirements are continuously followed
• Lead monthly reporting of project financials and metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical field
• 10+ years of related technical experience in the transportation industry
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration is required
• Proven experience in project delivery
• Background in technical design, including knowledge of state-specific design standards
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience interfacing with clients or subcontractors
• Experience with business and administrative project tasks, including scope, schedule, budget, and staffing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) projects
