Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects ranging in value from $30,000 to $1M through all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate the design process, including Concept, SD, DD, and CD drawings, while managing professional consultants and architects.
• Oversee the Request for Proposal (RFP) process to identify and select consultants and general contractors.
• Administer contracts, change orders, add services, and RFPs for contractors, subcontractors, and consulting engineers.
• Monitor project progress, schedules, and budgets to ensure compliance with construction documents and specifications.
• Conduct daily site reviews, lead construction meetings, and manage RFI and submittal logs.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project goals, scope of work, and preliminary budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, facilities management, planning and design, or a related field.
• Three years of progressively responsible experience managing new construction, renovation, retrofit, or repair projects valued over $35,000.
• Valid California driver’s license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), Google Workspace, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and business management principles related to resource allocation and contractor coordination.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Five years of experience in the trades, construction, or building design/build environments.
